Mr. M. Cemil Aslan, Secretary General of the Marmara Municipalities Union, and Ms. Burcuhan Şener, Director of Foreign Relations, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM).

During the meeting, the parties discussed potential avenues for collaboration in connection with EMA Forum 2026, to be hosted by the Marmara Municipalities Union in Istanbul in October 2026, and COP31, to be held in Antalya in November 2026.
