Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), welcomed Dr. Ankhbayar Danuu, Consul General of Mongolia in Istanbul, on Thursday, 27 August 2026.

During the meeting, discussions focused on potential cooperation opportunities that could be developed between Istanbul and Mongolian cities and institutions.

The meeting with Mr. Danuu concluded with the exchange of goodwill messages and a shared commitment to maintaining dialogue and strengthening relations in the future.
