In this context, Ms. Zeynep Neyza Ak\u00e7abay, Deputy Secretary General of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), and Mr. Barbaros B\u00fcy\u00fcksa\u011fnak, Head of IMM\u2019s Department of Foreign Relations and Permanent Secretary of the B40 Balkan Cities Network, paid a working visit to Zagreb on 20 January 2026.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, the delegation met with the Mayor of Zagreb, Mr. Tomislav Toma\u0161evi\u0107, and senior municipal officials to discuss preparations for the upcoming B40 Zagreb Summit. The meetings also focused on planning for the year ahead, potential areas of intercity cooperation, and efforts to further strengthen the institutional capacity of the B40 Balkan Cities
