<\/strong>Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and UNICEF plan to carry out a collaboration between 01.08.24 \u2013 31.12.25 in order to support children\u2019s development and strengthen their right to participation, where various training, workshops, and practical activities will be carried out.<\/p>\n<p>There are 6 main activities within the scope of the collaboration:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting early childhood development activities<br \/>\nStrengthening the capacities of professional staff, developing data collection mechanisms, planning training programs for the parental care process, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Encouraging the empowerment of adolescents through participation and engagement<br \/>\nSupporting the right of adolescents to participate by strengthening the municipality\u2019s participation mechanisms<\/li>\n<li>Developing a child-focused disaster and emergency response plan for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality<br \/>\nStrengthening child protection capacity<br \/>\nIncreasing the scope and quality of the municipality\u2019s child protection services through capacity building and supervision activities<\/li>\n<li>Increasing the capacity of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to develop data and evidence-based programs and policies<br \/>\nExpanding the data produced for children and the resources required for data collection<\/li>\n<li>Implementing the necessary services and interventions for children, adolescents, youth and their families affected by the earthquake<br \/>\nCreating an Earthquake Emergency
