Visit to the Consulate General of Albania in Istanbul

Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), paid a visit to Mr. Armand Shandro, Consul General of Albania in Istanbul, at the Consulate General’s new service building.

During the meeting, the existing cooperation between IMM and Albanian cities and relevant institutions was comprehensively reviewed, and views were exchanged on further enhancing relations and exploring new areas of collaboration.

The meeting also addressed ongoing work within the framework of the B40 Balkan Cities Network, with particular emphasis on the role and importance of Albanian cities within the network. Both sides expressed a shared understanding on advancing regional cooperation through continued dialogue and joint efforts.
