Visit to Consulate General of the Republic of Kosovo in Istanbul

Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Head of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Foreign Relations Department, visited the Consulate General of the Republic of Kosovo in Istanbul on September 11, 2024. During the visit, the friendship and cooperation relations between the two cities were discussed and views were exchanged on the projects that can be implemented in the future.

During the meeting, Mr. Büyüksağnak exchanged ideas with Ms. Suzan Novobërdaliu, Consul General of the Republic of Kosovo in Istanbul, on further strengthening cultural and social cooperation between cities. In addition, the events to be organized within the scope of the upcoming B40 Balkan Cities Network Summit and opportunities for cooperation were discussed. Both sides expressed their positive expectations for the cooperation between IMM and Kosovo cities.

The visit was an important step towards consolidating the developing relations between Istanbul and Kosovo cities and strengthening regional cooperation.
