GRANT PROGRAM: ERA-NET

OBJECTIVE: The project aims to develop a toolkit named “StreetOasis” to build consensus among urban officials, citizens, and civic organizations on street transformation projects that impact accessibility in urban neighborhoods.

Project Implementation Steps:

• Yoğurtçu Park was selected as the pilot application site and living lab.
• Each city will test its own set of tools in collaboration with local residents living in the area.
• Workshops and studios will be organized with the public to discuss design and functionality.
• As an outcome of the study, a “parklet” application in the pop-up area will be implemented if appropriate conditions are met.
• Traffic calming analysis will be conducted in the pilot area.
