28.02.2025
Spor Istanbul’s swimming event held on February 28 at Fatih Sports Complex within the scope of Erasmus Sport4All and attended by representatives from Malta, Croatia, Bulgaria and Ukraine was attended by EU Relations Manager Ali DOĞANAY, Assistant Manager Akın Özkardaş and Buket Yoloğlu. Supported by the European Commission within the scope of the Erasmus+ Sports program, this project is a solidarity and awareness movement that aims to ensure the integration of disabled individuals into social life through sports and to contribute to their physical and mental development. The event was prepared to remove the obstacles to disabled children and young people between the ages of 5-20 from doing sports and to create an accessible sports environment for everyone. Within the scope of the project, in addition to Turkish participants, swimmers, coaches and families from Croatia, Malta and Serbia, Ukraine and Bulgaria also participated in the event and created an international sports festival. After the athletes, coaches and referees walked on the pool deck, the swimmers took their places with the opening speech. After the first diving session, the winners were presented their medals by the Consul General of the Republic of Croatia in Istanbul, Dr. Ivana Zerec, and the Director of the EU Relations Department, Ali DOĞANAY.
Once again, a message of sports for everyone was given.
