An introductory meeting was held about the work carried out by Özyeğin University and IMM in the field of completed and ongoing projects. Subsequently, participation was made in working groups established in various fields such as transportation, smart cities, environment, and energy. Each project coordinator met with professors who work on those topics in the thematic field in which they work. Ideas were exchanged about which projects they could take part in together in the next period.

On the transportation and smart cities table, the following topics were tackled: maritime traffic, minimizing traffic accidents, sustainable and smart buildings, aerial imaging, user-centered design, artificial intelligence, vehicle-to-vehicle communication, developing applications to reduce traffic congestion, software to ensure privacy in city cards, digital twin. In some of these areas, contact information was shared to connect the relevant professors with the relevant units of IMM.
