Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak Paid a Courtesy Visit to the Consul General of Croatia in Istanbul

Head of Department of the Foreign Relations & B40 Permanent Secretary Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, paid a courtesy visit to the Dean of the Consular Corps of Istanbul, Consul General of the Republic of Croatia in Istanbul, Ms. Ivana Zerec, on December 10, 2025.

During the meeting, the friendly relations between Istanbul and Croatia, as well as potential areas of cooperation were discussed. The discussions also addressed the upcoming B40 Summit to be held in Zagreb, as the city will assume the B40 Presidency in 2026 under the leadership of Mayor of Zagreb, Mr. Tomislav Tomašević.

The meeting, held in a warm atmosphere, concluded with mutual expressions of goodwill towards strengthening collaboration between Istanbul and the cities of Croatia and enhancing joint initiatives within the framework of the B40 Cities Network.
