Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Hosts Delegation from Bulgarian Sunday School

Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Head of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Foreign Relations Department, hosted Consul Mr. Krasimir Tsenovski and Visa Consul Mr. Atanas Dimov of the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Istanbul, along with students and teachers from the Bulgarian Sunday School, on February 28, 2025.

The visit was held as part of the traditional Bulgarian Baba Marta festivities, a longstanding tradition in Bulgaria. As part of the event, students presented martenitsi, handmade by themselves, as a symbolic gesture representing the arrival of spring in Bulgarian culture.

The meeting included discussions on enhancing cultural cooperation and strengthening friendly relations between the two communities.
