Memorandum of Understanding Between the Tevfik Fikret Aşiyan Museum and the Yakub Kolas State Museum of Literature and Memorial, Belarus

On March 30, 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Tevfik Fikret Aşiyan Museum of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) and the Yakub Kolas State Museum of Literature and Memorial in Belarus.

The MoU, concluded within the scope of the meeting between Mr. Tolga Volkan Aslan, Head of IMM’s Culture, Arts and Social Affairs Department, and Ms. Maria Miroslavovna Kazakevič, Deputy Director of the Yakub Kolas State Museum of Literature and Memorial, which was also attended by Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Head of IMM’s Foreign Relations Department and Mr. Ali Şafak Özdemir, Director of Libraries and Museums under the Department of Culture at IMM, expressed a mutual agreement to enhance institutional communication between the two museums in the fields of literature, cultural heritage, and museology.
