Mayors of The World’s Megacities Got Together At Artistanbul Feshane

Istanbul hosted the first ever ‘Megacities Summit’, where mayors and representatives of megacities around the world came together. The summit, organized at Artİstanbul Feshane, was hosted by Ekrem İmamoğlu, Mayor of Istanbul, and Claudia Lopez, Mayor of Bogota, the capital of Colombia. At the summit, İmamoğlu and Lopez expressed their concern over the escalating violence between Israel and Palestine. “It is the responsibility of the whole world to end this conflict in this geography, which is one of the oldest settlements of humanity. We are a nation ready to take part in this responsibility at the highest level.” Lopez said, “It is important to achieve peace not only in Israel and Palestine, but all over the world. Otherwise, we cannot create prosperity anywhere.”
