IMM Deputy Secretary General Mr. Korkut Met with Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Istanbul Mr. Lee

Deputy Secretary General of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), Mr. Recep Korkut, met with the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Istanbul, Mr. Woo Sung Lee. Accompanying the Deputy Secretary General at the meeting were Head of the Department of Foreign Relations Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Head of the Department of Parks and Gardens Prof. Dr. Tuğba Ölmez Hancı, and Director of Foreign Relations Mr. Fahri Murat Tuncay.

During the meeting, both sides mutually expressed their great pleasure with the ongoing strong friendship relations between IMM and the cities and institutions of the Republic of Korea, and consultations were held on possible cooperation and projects that may be carried out in 2026.

The meeting concluded with a joint declaration of good will regarding the further development of the existing relations.
