Ekrem İmamoğlu Hosted Mr. Trukhanov, Mayor of Odesa

Ekrem İmamoğlu, Mayor of Istanbul, welcomed Mr. Gennadiy Trukhanov, Mayor of Odesa, from Ukraine, which has been experiencing war and destruction since February 4, 2022. Wishing for an immediate end to war and highlighting that the humanitarian aid to war-torn regions will continue, İmamoğlu said “April 23 is the day of our children and today, we have children from various countries. Among them, I saw the fear and anxiety in the eyes of the Ukrainian and Palestinian children. Above all, I feel indebted to those children.”
