Disaster Focused Digital Twin Platform Project
GRANT PROGRAM: USTDA (United States Trade and Development Agency)
OBJECTIVE: The Spatial Digital Twin of Istanbul is a virtual representation of the real-world Istanbul, representing real-world assets or natural systems with information models, data, reports, analyses and behaviors in a spatial context with the built world. The digital twin reflects what exists in the real world today, but can also predict what may exist in the future. The digital twin combines our Geographic Information System (GIS) technology infrastructure with IoT, BIM, Big Data and many other technologies in an integrated model. In line with our roadmap, the digital twin is not a single product or solution, but a complex network of technologies and systems.
