Delegation Led by Tashkent City Secretary-General Yuldash Ismailov Meets with IMM Secretary-General Prof. Dr. Volkan Demir

A delegation led by Mr. Yuldash Ismailov, Secretary-General of Tashkent City Municipality, visited Istanbul on October 23, 2025, and met with Mr. Volkan Demir, Secretary-General of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), at the IMM Saraçhane Building.

The meeting took place within the framework of the ongoing cooperation and knowledge exchange between the two cities, particularly in the fields of tourism and tourism management. Both sides discussed potential joint projects in the areas of urban management, digital transformation, public services, and cultural exchange, emphasizing the importance of strengthening institutional ties between Istanbul and Tashkent.

During the discussions, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to developing sustainable partnerships and promoting people-to-people connections between Türkiye and Uzbekistan through municipal collaboration.
