A Coordination Meeting on Fund and Grant Projects was held at IMM Bakırköy Building, hosted by the Department of Foreign Relations. The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Oğuz Demir, Chair of the Planning and Budget Commission in IMM Council; Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Head of the Foreign Relations Department; Dr. Ali Doğanay, Director of EU Relations Directorate and unit managers and project coordinators from relevant departments within IMM.

The meeting began with an overview of the general activities of the attending departments and directorates concerning funds and grants. In this context, the importance of interdepartmental cooperation was emphasized, and discussions were held on the necessary steps to enhance project-writing capacity. Participants shared their experiences in project writing and implementation, focusing on strategies to increase the success rate of future projects.

The meeting is considered as a step towards strengthening IMM’s strategies in project management and international collaborations. Attendees collectively agreed on the need to enhance cooperation and coordination to struggle challenges encountered in project processes.
