Cologne–Istanbul Sister City Association Delegation Visits Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality

The executives of the Cologne–Istanbul Sister City Association, established following the sister city agreement signed between Istanbul and Cologne in 1997, paid a visit to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Department of Foreign Relations as part of their visit to Istanbul.

The delegation met with Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations, and held discussions on strengthening the sister city relations between Istanbul and Cologne, enhancing cultural exchange, and exploring potential joint initiatives.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized their shared commitment to further advancing the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two cities.
