In the meeting held between the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality EU Relations Directorate and Istanbul Kültür University, potential areas of collaboration were discussed with the aim of strengthening public–university cooperation in European Union projects.The discussions highlighted potential areas of cooperation across multiple thematic fields, including youth, sustainability, the environment, accessible design for elderly and disabled individuals, disaster-resilient urban practices, digital citizenship, and green transformation. While sharing the projects currently led by Istanbul Kültür University and their experience with EU funding programs, a strong foundation was established for partnerships aimed at supporting public services with scientific knowledge.
