GRANT PROGRAMME: Driving Urban Transitions to a Sustainable Future Partnership (DUT)
OBJECTIVE: How our cities are planned and organized and the socio-spatial connection between older adults’ homes and the surrounding neighborhood affects their social interactions, sense of security, mobility, and accessibility to facilities in their daily lives, which can have positive or negative effects on their health and well-being. This project shall response the questions which are stated at below.
- How can neighborhoods support the socio-spatial needs of current and future aging populations in their daily lives?
- What makes a neighborhood age-friendly from the perspective of older adults?
- What is the role of collaborative housing and the 15mC concept in planning age-friendly neighborhoods?
- How can transition pathways towards age-friendly neighborhoods be developed and expanded?
