Acting Mayor of Istanbul, Mr. Nuri Aslan, welcomes Moscow Government Minister Mr. Sergey Cheremin

Mr. Nuri Aslan, Acting Mayor of Istanbul hosted Mr. Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Moscow Government. During the meeting, the existing areas of cooperation between Istanbul and Moscow were reviewed, and views were exchanged on potential new joint projects that could be developed between the two cities. The parties also discussed ways to strengthen intercity relations, enhance economic cooperation, and deepen mutual exchange of experience. Mr. Alexander Kalachev, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Istanbul, also attended the meeting.

Mr. Aslan, emphasized the importance Istanbul places on international cooperation. Mr. Sergey Cheremin, for his part, underlined that relations between Istanbul and Moscow are growing stronger day by day and expressed their determination to support existing cooperation with concrete projects and to expand it into new areas.
