AB TÜRKİYE DELEGASYONU’YLA BİR ARAYA GELEN İMAMOĞLU: “DEĞİŞİM SÜRECİNE HAZIRLANIN”

Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu met with the Head of the EU Delegation to Turkey Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut and a delegation of ambassadors from different countries. During the meeting; many issues were discussed, from the Russia-Ukraine war to the attitude of EU countries on this issue, from Turkey’s accession process to the EU to the slow progress of the process regarding the financing that IMM expects from EU-affiliated financial institutions. Imamoglu criticized the lack of serious progress in the decisions taken by the EU Delegation on climate change, disaster preparedness, transportation, and urban mobility, expansion of preschool education, and asylum seekers, and said: “We hope that the EU Delegation and EU countries will prepare for the process of change in Turkey and increase the scale of our cooperation.”
