OBJECTIVE: The project aims to provide a participatory method to make women’s access to public transportation safe and comfortable. Identifying problems and developing suggestions in a participatory process to make the route between a selected street and a public transportation station (bus stop, metro, etc.) in an area with predominantly mixed housing (commerce, housing, education, etc.) safe, and works will be carried out. With the Design Marathon, the suggestions will become applicable to the site, and the project will be implemented together with neighborhood residents through the “Your Street” activity. The target audience of the project includes women who use public transportation and encounter problems, as well as citizens from other vulnerable groups (children, individuals with disabilities, elderly individuals, etc.).
