EU Relations Director Dr. Hüseyin Sert and Akın Özkardaş from the EU Relations Directorate visited the Consulate General of the United Kingdom in Istanbul. Lorraine Fussey, Deputy Consul General and Nicholas Cannon, Head of the Economics and Welfare Section of the Consulate General attended the meeting.

During the meeting, first of all, information was given about the activities of the EU Relations Directorate and the consulate visits realized so far. Another important topic that came up during the meeting was IMM’s UK Government Prosperity Fund – Cities of the Future Program. Deputy Consul General Lorraine Fussey stated that they would be pleased to see Istanbul join the Prosperity Fund, in which Ankara and Bursa cities from our country participate. She expressed that they were happy with the visit of Ekrem İmamoğlu to London in recent weeks.
