A meeting was held between Mr. Erich SCHMID, Consul of Protocol of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Istanbul, Mr. Mehmet ERKEN in charge of Press, Protocol and Public Relations, Dr. Hüseyin SERT, Director of European Union Relations of IBB and Mr. Murat ERYILMAZ from the Directorate of European Union Relations at Bakırköy Annex Building of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality on Wednesday, 18.12.2019. During the meeting, the areas of cooperation between Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and the Consulate of the Federal Republic of Germany in Istanbul were discussed. Protocol Consul Erich SCHMID stated that they are willing to cooperate with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in the events to be organized in the coming days. In addition, the possibilities of cooperation with the Goethe-Institut on the EuroDesk, which will be within the European Union Relations Directorate of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, and ERASMUS programs for young people were mentioned.
