C40 Europe Deputy Regional Director Mr. Stelios Diakoulakis Paid a Visit to Mr. Büyüksağnak

Mr. Stelios Diakoulakis, C40 Europe Deputy Regional Director, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM).

During the meeting, the parties discussed the existing areas of cooperation between IMM and C40, as well as potential joint initiatives to be pursued in the coming period. They also exchanged views on possible collaborations and joint events within the framework of London Climate Action Week, to be held from 20–28 June 2026, and COP31.

The parties expressed their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation and developing joint initiatives in the fields of climate diplomacy and sustainability in the period ahead.
