Visit to the Consulates General of North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in Istanbul

Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), met with Mr. İdris Fazlioski, Consul General of North Macedonia in Istanbul, and Mr. Dragan Mihaljević, Consul General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Istanbul.

During the meetings, appreciation was expressed for the strong and ongoing relations between IMM and the cities and institutions of North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The shared commitment to further enhance existing cooperation was also reaffirmed. As part of these engagements, the new premises of the Consulate General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Istanbul were also visited.

Mr. Büyüksağnak also expressed his appreciation for the active engagement of cities from North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the B40 Balkan Cities Network, whose Permanent Secretariat is carried out by the IMM Department of Foreign Relations.
