Within the scope of the initiative launched under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology titled “Horizon 2040: Development Agencies’ Future Vision Workshops,” the “Regional Stakeholders Workshop” was organized by the Istanbul Development Agency on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Building.

The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality was represented at the meeting by Akın Özkardaş, Deputy Director of the EU Relations and Murat Eryılmaz, Project Coordinator in the EU Relations Directorate.

During the workshop, topics such as regional development policies within the framework of the development agencies’ future vision, opportunities for collaboration between the public and private sectors, support for innovative projects, and goals for sustainable and inclusive growth were discussed in detail
