Consul at the Consulate General of Romania in Istanbul Mr. Dragoş Luca Paid a Courtesy Visit to Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak

Head of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Department of Foreign Relations & B40 Permanent Secretary Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, hosted Mr. Dragoş Luca, Consul at the Consulate General of Romania in Istanbul, on 17 September 2025.

As part of his courtesy visit following his new appointment, Mr. Luca and Mr. Büyüksağnak discussed the existing friendly relations and cooperation opportunities between Istanbul and Romania. The meeting also addressed joint projects and the exchange of experiences within the framework of the B40 Balkan Cities Network.

The visit concluded with the reaffirmation of sincere goodwill messages to strengthen the ties between Istanbul and Romanian cities and to develop new collaborations in the future.
