Meeting in Istanbul with Balkan and Eco-Friendly Nation Diplomats

The “Istanbul Meeting with Balkan and Environmentally Friendly Country Diplomats,” co-organized by the Prestige International Relations Development Platform and the Permanent Secretariat of the B40 Balkan Cities Network, was held at Metrohan, a facility of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. The event brought together a distinguished audience, including representatives from the fields of diplomacy, academia, and the arts.

 During the event, Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, Permanent Secretary of the B40 and Head of Foreign Relations at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, and Mr. Mehmet Gözcü, President of the Prestige International Relations Development Platform, delivered remarks alongside the Consuls General of Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia. The speakers highlighted the pivotal role of city diplomacy, conducted through the B40 Balkan Cities Network, in fostering dialogue, promoting peace, and enhancing positive relations throughout the region.
