Stronger Ties of Fraternity Between Istanbul and Odesa

The “Heart-Anchor” sculpture, designed and built as part of the sister-city relations between Odesa and Istanbul by the Municipality of Odesa and completed in August 2018, arrived in Istanbul on 7 February 2024. Presented as a token of friendship to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the artwork is set to be displayed at the Çubuklu Ferry Terminal in Beykoz.
Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu, the Mayor of Istanbul, conducted the official opening ceremony of the sculpture alongside Hon. Mr. Roman Nedilskyi, the Consul General of Ukraine to Istanbul.
